First Capital Connect train care depots?

I am train enthusiast, before when i lived near Hornsey five years ago there were many WAGN emu trains in the depot (I was told over 40 trains), but now with the new company there are only 20 trains.

also other siding/depots like Hertford North sidings are no longer used so where is First Capital Connect keeping its rolling stock on the Stevenage-King Cross-Moorgate area?

  1. FCC have two main depots: Hornsey and Bedford (Cauldwell Walk)

Additional stabling facilities, as specified in FCC's Track Access Agreement, are located at: Welwyn Garden City, Letchworth, Cambridge, Bedford Carriage Sidings, Cricklewood, Selhurst and Brighton (Lovers Walk).

  2. FCC (First Capital Connect) have got depots just outside Bedford and also a depot called Lovers Walk which is just outside of Brighton.

In my last job I used to investigate incidents for FCC between Brighton and Central London.

  3. can't answer the question but was intrigued because, although I live in Wales, for the past 8 weeks I have been making weekly visits to London from Hatfield, using first Capital Connect from Hatfield to Kings X and then changing to underground. Why don't you contact them direct. They might have a contact or customer information address on their web site.

  4. They Dont.

the nearest places that have a FCC depot are Cricklewood / West Hampstead, Selhurst and Brighton as far as I know. The Brighton and Selhurst yard is being closed to FCC though as they are no longer part of the Go Ahead group.

  5. They are probably out earning revenue, rather than sitting in sidings getting square wheels.
