First Corn Snake, Im At a Loss.?

Question

Well when I first got him he seemed fine, he didnt mind being picked up held etc

its been 3 weeks and ive been feeding him normally as the last owner instructed but now if I goto pick him up he pulls away and then.. well I guess throws his body at me type thing and the odd time hisses when im handeling him.

I assumed he was shedding cause at one point I thought his eyes were kinda whiteish but it seems to have gone away so maybe I was seeing things? I dont know.

Ya, they get like that when they are about to shed. No prob, it's just because he has trouble seeing when his skin whites over like that. His skin clears up just before he sheds, but he may still be a little grumpy because the old skin is still kinda rough, like wax paper & he doesn't wanna move around a lot. Just wait till after he sheds, he should calm down a bit then.

he's shedding. they go "blue" then clear up for a day or so, then you'll find a shed in the tank.
