First Dance song?

Question

I am getting married in six weeks and still haven't finalised our first dance song.

The song we had in mind was "Lucky" by Jason Mraz feat Colby Calliet (sp)

What are your thoughts

(My hubby to be isn't into really slow waltzy things)

i love the idea of dancing to 'at last' by etta james, it's a  classic and so romantic. Plus it's not too slow or waltzy.

Not sure what you guys are into but, there is always "Lost In This Moment" by Big&Rich, if you have never heard it look it up on YouTube, its wonderful. Or you can dance to the first song you heard on the radio. It is whatever you guys want.

but in the end you pick what you and ur fiance like follow ur heart

I like that song. My first dance song will be Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls, but sung by a good friend of mine. It is your wedding and it only happens once so choose something special. The only thing that matters is the both of you being happy about the song choice ;-) Hope I helped!

my fiancee and i are dancing to "i'm yours" the acoustic version by jason mraz at our wedding.  for the most part, the lyrics fit us perfectly (but with any jason mraz song, there are some goofy lines).  at the same time, we were thinking "everything" by michael buble, its not really slow or waltzy, but it isn't fast and it is an impeccable love song!

however, lucky is a good choice too!  if you like it, i would say stick with it...  the possibilities are endless as far as wedding songs go!
