First Day Of School, Im so nervous!?

ok so im so nervous for the first day of school, i mean im going to 8th grade woohoo! But everything is gonna be new! and all my friends moved :( so ill be going to activities to make some new friends! :) ill get good grades study(which is most important) and try to do gr8 and impress teachers. But there are realllllllly meannnn ppl tooin my school! although i know theyre jelous of me becuase i always win contests and stuff and im prettier and skinnier thaan them. so yeah, so then WHY do i feel so nervous? is it maybe im excited? pls becuase im sooooo nervous i cant sleep! by the way im not a mean person im a nice person. best answer gets 10 points!

You're just conceited - I mean, excited. You'll get over that inside of an hour, just like you did on every other first day of school you've ever had.

I get nervous the first day of school also.  I am a college student and I have always been that way.  Its' ok just go and you will see everything will go well.  It is perfectly normal to be nervous!!!  I bet a lot of other people are nervous too!!  We are all human.

Of course it's normal to be a little nervous when you start secondary school. You should be worried if you were not nervous. Just relax and take things as they come, it may seem terrible at first, but after a while you will look back and wonder why you were nervous honest. I changed schools knowing nobody, and not even knowing what the school was like, but I am fine now.

Don't suck up to the teachers, get good grades but don't like put ur hand up 4 evry question or u deserve to be classed as a t**t. Just talk to the person next 2 u if they luk okay cuz chances r they r as nervous as u

well if you want to be friends with new people it isnt the best to think you are prettier and skinnier than them...... it doesnt give people the right idea about you. Also i was in 8th grade and academically you will do fine i am sure just follow this and you will be fine! and dont try to impress others just be yourself!

don't be nervous!! cherish the 8th grade! it'll be great if you make it that great. don't worry about the jealous or mean people; nerves only make you seem more vulnerable to their criticism. trust me, the more confident you are, and the happier you seem, the more friends you'll make! have fun and enjoy it! i know it sucks: it's school, who doesn't dread it a little. but just apply yourself in the academic aspect of it, and just make sure you smile! a smile is so much more approachable than a frown :) good luck and have fun!!!

Dont worry about anything. im also going 2 8th grade and im excited cause im graduating.

Here a tip on making new friends: just say hi to them and start a natural convo like where did u go to school before, did u move here....... questions like that.

just ignore and mean ppl in ur skool. ok they will not do anything 2 u inless u do something to them. trust me on this i no wat im saying!!!

im going to grade eight too, and making friends can be tough, but its nothing to be that nervous about. you just gotta go with the flow and trust me, once you get there, you'll loosen up. the only thing i ever get nervous about it figuring out whos in my class.

8th grade - kings of the school! Eighth is a fun year and it sounds like you're excited-and you should be! As for the others, well, everyone starts getting shifting out of the "we're all friends" mode from elementary school when they get in middle school, but everyone finds the people who they enjoy being with best. The people's opinions who aren't your friends shouldn't matter because they don't know the real you and it's possible they might be jealous. But the best thing is not to be cruel back and, like you said, get involved in activities you like and you'll surely meet some great friends. Good luck!

Well first of all, Your NOT all that just b'cuz your skinny!!! There's a lot of skinny ppl in the world! And that's the problem with the young ppl today! The skinny girls think they're better the any body! And always thinking some bodies jjealous Well first changeyour attitude!
