  1. You will probably not need the book on the first day of class.

Just bring a notebook to take notes.

  2. Things to bring on the first day of class:

    Book

    Notebook

    Writing Utensil

Question about the Syllabus (if you already have it)

A Patient Spirit (you'll need it to sit through hours of boring introductory material).

  3. You need the necessary supplies to come to class (textbook, notebooks, etc.) so yes, you need to bring your book to English Composition class. Be prepared every day! Good luck during your first year of college! Get good grades, go to class everyday, and if you have a question about some of the material, don't be afraid to ask your professors! Also, be safe! 4. I always wait until I receive my syllabus and confirm what books are required. you more than likely will not need your book, but you may get an assignment that is due next class that you will need your book for.
