First Day of High School Tips!!!?

Ok so tomorrow i start my first day of high school! i am really nervous! do you have any tips that could help me? personal stories are welcome!

Well i'm a senior in high school and high school's really fun. Try to make new friends and just have fun with it. Trust me, everyone's nervous on the first day so just try to interact. Wear something nice because it makes a good first impression. Join clubs and get involved in sports if u play any. Don't get too drawn into the party scene because that's not all there is to high school. Making new friends is the key to having great high school years. Without my friends, high school would have really sucked. Hope i helped! =)

For me high school was where I became more open to being myself because I had good friends and learned how to brush off what all the other nit-wits had to say.

umm well my first day of high school was pretty funny. the short version would be:

it was raining

my bus was late to pick us up

i was wet

my bus was late to school

i got lost and couldn't find my locker because it was in the middle of nowhere

teacher had to help me

she couldn't find it either (she is now my english teacher..haha awkward right??)

late to 1st period study hall

didn't know what caf 3 ment on my schedual

FIREDRILL! its still pouring down rain.

panick..lol jk.

the rest of the day went fine except i couldn't find my friend at lunch and i didn't get to sit with her

and

i almost missed my bus at the end of the day because i couldn't find it.

but seriously don't be scared because its not that bad and everyone else is feeling the same way you are.

the upper classmen don't care about the freshman (at least most of them anyway). they won't make fun of you to your face they might be like "these freshman are so dumb" but most don't. im a sophomore and i just ignore the freshman and i don't make fun of them because everyone is a freshman once.

well, just relax. it wont matter if you're late the first week: teachers are lenient. smile and be approachable and you'll make tons of friends. keep a planner of homework and do all the assignments

ps. my big sis said..no cheap Hannah Montana's stationary from wallmart or any other retailer store. They might think of you g*y or obessed.
