  1. Well, sometimes that happens. What you should do is join some kind of club, sports team, or group. You will meet new people there and odd are some of the people from your class will be in that group too. That gives you something to talk about in class and its good to know who shares common interests with you.

  2. I had the same issue when I first went. I actually cried all the way to highschool in the car, begging to not go. Embarrassing I know.

Understand that there will be others that feel the same way as you.

In the first few weeks everyone will be tense, not sure what to say, etc.

I suggest you just be yourself - someone will like you for who you are, and if not then thats their problem. If you have a funny side, let it loose (don't make fun of others though).

A great tip to make friends in that situation is be a little out there. Don't be afraid to voice your opinion, but for now don't say anything people might make offense to.

Sit besides someone you don't know in class. I sw that the people who went to highschool with friends and only stuck with them often had a hard time finding new friends. It does happen, people move on. You may be best of buddies now, but who knows what fights will happen. So get your friends that you normally hang out with, but definitely make sure you continuously try to make new friends. This is important.

As for any classes, if its a new location your at, and your late for class don't get to upset about it. Teachers will usually yell at you the first few weeks to try and get you to remember where to go (do they not realise their methods work!) Find the aspects you like of different people, teachers and students, and focus on getting to know them better.

    In summary,

    - Be yourself

    - Attempt to make new friends

    - Understand that there will be others feeling the same way as you - so make them feel better and you will feel better, trust me on that.

  3. try to get along with the people you can't.

i'm sure not everyone in your classes is mean.

    just smile and be friendly=]

    join a sport & clubs

    see your counselor?

maybe this will give u a chance to find new friends..

hang out with your friends after school.

like plan study dates with your friends after school.

    hope this helped:]

  4. It's just a change that you're going to have to get used to.

Unless you have a special reason, I don't think that the counselors will let you change your schedule. Especially if the reason is that you don't have any friends in your classes.

Try to look at it positive and chat it up with a few people around you.

For my 1st day of high school, I also hated it because it was all akward and I didn't really know any one in my classes...

but hey, just make the best of it.

  5. So many people you just need to get to know them ask questions but not to many cause they think you dumb E-mail me I have a lot of tips for you  What school u go to ? barbarcake12@yahoo.com

ANyone else who read this can e-mail me to glad to help

  6. go to a private skool

  7. I wouldn't worry about the classroom because your there to learn you can't do much about it. The halls, lunch, break... do you have a cell if you do and they are not band at your school you should txt between your breaks and ask to meet up or you can make a little schedule with your friends so you guys can meet up according to your schedule time. I think high school was awesome and I am going to miss it once your finished the year or when your done high school I think you will of enjoyed it. All you have to do is make it fun and be positive about it.

  8. text your friends during the day. itll keep your relationship strong with them and give you some courage to atleast open up to some new people. a good friend will always be there for you, if they see you everyday or not. but dont be so quick to judge. start talking to some kids in your classes. someones bound to have atleast something in common with you. you dont have to be best friends with them, just have someone to talk to. itll get alot easier. by the time your a senior, your going to be freindly with everyone.

  9. Welcome to the real world.  When you leave school and get your first job will you know everyone there?  No of course not.  Will you like every one?  No of course not.  School is about preparing you for life.  This is part of the process.  You will make new friends. Its ok not to like everyone, but you may be surprised and begin to like them after all.  If not.  So what?  Roll with it.

  10. trust me you'll get used to it and eventually love it! my first day as a freshman sucked too, but don't worry it will get better. you will make new friends. don't worry about it!
