Question:

First Harriet Miers, Now Sarah Palin. Do Republicans think that just having estrogen is all a candidate needs?

If she hadn't been a woman, there's no way Bush would have nominated Miers for a Supreme Court position. If she wasn't a woman, there's no way that McCain would have chosen Palin. Is this a disturbing trend, showing that Republicans are willing to appoint unqualified women to important positions based solely on their gender, or simply a coincidence? And why is it that there don't seem to be any qualified Republican women?

  1. Palin was not chosen because she is a female.  Rather because she is not a rich elderly white male - there is a slight difference.

By the way she does have more executive experience than Obama, Biden and McCain combined.  This is an executive position!!!

  2. Interesting question....Frankly, I think McCain was looking for someone who will just shut up and sit down, when ordered to do so.  Palin has not been subjected to McCain's violent tantrums, so she would be in a distinct disadvantage if, that is, they had any chance to win the election.

  3. well the liberals that run this show won't let me answer your question but yet they let you ask it

  4. Yes, to McSame a skirt is a skirt.

Democratic women will never vote for an anti-choice homophobic creationist nut job.

  5. At least Harriet Miers was a lawyer. For the Reps to yuck up Palin's thin resume as "better than Obama's" is laughable.

There were plenty of qualified women for the VP ticket. McCain just wanted arm-candy

  6. Republican men keep them in their place :  Barefoot and pregnant.

  7. Are you 4getting Geraldean Ferraro?
