First Job Cashier Fast Food?

Front line Cashier, first job ever :( Fast Food

I'm nervous, I start my job friday, but i got my orientation tomorrow, what do I have to do tomorrow, is that the training??

That's training...no biggie, just listen and do your best. Smile and give the correct change you'll do great.

Just don't take things so seriously, mellow out, you will be okay the world will not end just yet. There are things much more important than this job

Orientation is just going over rules, policies, and interesting facts about the restaurant, and signing forms. All you have to do is sit quietly, act appropriate  listen to whoever is in charge of the orientation and be attentive. That is not the training- at least at McDonald's) your training will start after that, usually for 4 days. You will watch movies and answer questions asked about them.  Then you will have floor experience with your trainer, either in grill or service, which ever your were hired into. Then you will have to pass a few SOC's, then your done training! good luck!

the orientation, they just go over the job responseabilities, the rules and all that **** .....chill out though .....

and since its ur 1st job.....u're going to want 2 quit after 3 days but stick w/ it cuz u'll appreciate the experience in the future

Don't be scared...there're first time for evrything...just relax and do your best. And yes...mostly your first day would be your trainning, either on field or watch orientation videos. Good luck...!

Most fast food orientation is just paperwork and videos. Relax it is not a hard job. Just tedious and a bunch of rude butt wipes to wait on.

Orientation is easy.  It is just an introduction to the rules and regulations of the company and what they expect of you.  You will most likely be watching boring videos and maybe doing a little hands-on training.  Good luck!
