  1. everyone thinks that their island is better but personally dr is better why because theres not that much crime like in pr and in dr we dont get money from the usa we survive by our selfs we dont need help from no one thats why we have independence and pr doesnt so tell your friend that dr is way better than pr

  2. According to olympiastatistik.de, Puerto Rico first sent a team to the Summer Olympics in 1948 and did not return until 1976.  The Dominican Republic sent a team in 1984 and then not again until 2004  Puerto Rico won their first medal in 1948 and the Dominican Republic won their first in 1984 (both of them bronze).  Their total medal breakdown is as follows:

    Puerto Rico

    Gold: 0

    Silver: 1

    Bronze: 5

    Dominican Republic:

    Gold: 1

    Silver: 0

    Bronze: 1

  3. Well unfortunately, i have to tell you that Dominican Republic has already won a medal only the color of the medal has yet to be determined. Felix Diaz of Dominican Republic has on the 18th August 2008 qualified to the semifinal of the Men's 64kg light welter boxing. He'll fight with a french boxer on the 22nd August to see if he makes the final. Since both the losing semifinalists will receive bronze medals, therefore Dominican Republic has already won a medal. However Dominican Republic will only be listed in the medals table after all the gold, silver and bronze winners have been determined.
