First Pheonix Lander Photo?

Question

So did you see the first photo? What the heck is that big white thing about a two or three miles away on the horizon? Its got to be as big as a house and ten times as tall!

So what do you think? Its way to big to be part of the lander heat shield. Inquiring minds want to know!

That was so cool.  I watched the first pictures come over.  Then there was a News relies where everyone wanted to know what that was.  Funny thing was that NASA's people said " Its a Polar Bear." twice.  Then when someone asked if they were going to look at that "artifact" they responded that they would be looking South; so this first image would not be answered.  HOWEVER!  If you look down at the remaining pictures of their ship...there is a foot print leading away from their landing site.  They said this was just the way the dust was pushed away from their ship.  But other people watching this with me, thought it looked more like someone ran out from under the lander...And that thing in the distance looked like a house.  I still finde it crutial that NASA called it a "Polar Bear".

They said they don't know yet, but they are planning to investigate once they're sure they've got Phoenix working properly.  The top part of the white thing looks like a few hot pixels in the array, but not the whole thing.  Maybe it's shiny and reflecting light.

You mean that white sliver?  It doesn't look like it's even part of the landscape.  It looks like it's missing data or something.  I can't see it in the original pictures, but I do see some landscape features that appear to be very light in color.

In looking at the photos the landscape of "Mars" looks an awful lot like the landscape of Arizona.  Who is sponsoring this lander thing anyway?  The University of Arizona?!  Aha!  Just like the supposed moon landing.

That just looks like a white pole standing 1 metre out of the ground.Lookout its a alien movement censor.Oh well that's good by to another lander.
