I'm 13 days past ovulation. using second morning urine I got a faint faint line on a first response early results (i've never had any line on them at all!) it came up with in 3 minutes and is pink in color but is very faint..

the clear blue easy digital (using same urine) said 'not pregnant'.

Tomorrow if I get another line I will go get blood work drawn. but in the mean time what do you think?

we've been ttc for two years.

thank you!

  1. I've heard the digitals aren't quite as sensitive as others.  I'd try another regular one.  maybe even some from the dollar store.  they're great for obsessively testing, rofl!

since your line on the other one came up quickly and is pink, I'd say you're definitely pregnant!  congrats!  :D

I've had 3 faint lines so far.  they're definitely shadowy and not whitish like the evap lines I've only seen before.

  2. First repsonse tests HCG levels of 25.  Clear Blue is around 100.  You ARE pregnant, just really early.

Any positive on a test is a positive overall.  (rule of thumb)

  3. CONGRATULATIONS!

i hope everything works out well, faulse positives are more than just rare, and more than just few and far between.

    so happy for you..

  4. well maybe youn are pregnant but there is not enough hcg hormones in your urine

  5. I think I'm going to say CONGRATULATIONS MOMMY. False positives as you have heard are extremely rare.

  6. I'd say take a blood test, it'll definitely give you a correct response, urine didnt work on me when i was pregnant until my 2nd month, so i took a blood test and it came out positive, Goodluck

  7. I would say CONGRATS! False positives are rare! Will be praying for you:-) GOOD LUCK :-0

  8. i would say your pregnant and the easy digital does not detect the same amount of hcg as the 1st response, take another test in a day or 2 and the line should be a bit darker as hcg levels double every few days

  9. A false positive is very rare. I would def trust that one False negatives happen all the time especially early in pregnancy when your hormone levels are very low and hard to detect. If you can't wait to be sure try not to pee for the rest of the day then take another test late tonight or FIRST pee in the morning so the hormone can build up and be detected. The brands or types really don't matter as long as they are not expired they all test for the same hormone. I would def. say CONGRATS! I bet your pregnant.
