It says on the website that you can test 6 days before you expect your period, but then it gives an example and says if you expect your period on the 21st, you can test on the 17th. But that's 4 days before your expected period. So what do they mean? How soon can I use one of these tests?

  1. I thought it was 5 days before you expect your period, but anyhow these are really reliable tests. I tested 4 days before my period was due with my last baby and it was positive! It was a faint line, but he'll be 7 in October!

  2. I used mine 6 days before and got accurate results, however if the hormone in your body hasn't matured enough you might get a false negative by testing too early. So if you are anxious to know I would get a double pack, test 6 days before if it comes up negative, wait until after you miss your period and then retest.
