burke37chris: you know it is a funny question and a bit ironic. Palin might not be in the industry, but supports it and I'm sure her donations reflect that.

  1. Bingo!  Give that man a prize.

  2. Short answer: Yes.

We will be paying  $8 for  a gallon  of by the end of McCain's  term and he and his wife will then be rich enough to buy an island with a lot for houses on it.

Then they would really be confused about how many houses they have.

  3. They got you by your OILY cahones don't they??

And hey, it's not just you Americans paying for all this...so is the REST of the world.

GUSTAV is supposed to hike oil prices to $5 a gallon.

Any old excuse...what's GUSTAV got to do with it???

  4. Her husband is a union worker, not a corporate oil person.  He does not get money if they drive the price of gas up, like Bush and Cheney

I do not think it was the GOP pick, they would of like a guy that they can control.  Not a women they knew nothing about

  5. May the all mighty God save us.

  6. Get real

  7. Check their profit margin LOL.

Yes indeed. We suffer; they party. But many Americans don't see that.

  8. Better go back and check how many Democrats are also invested in oil!

  9. YES!

  10. They are into everything that uses the American people to make billions. They have construction contracts all around the world where they get the foreign gov. to pay them to rebuild their country & use our military to bomb & run up a bill that the tax payers own while no one really sees what we are charged. Meanwhile, our military is used for the hoax of a war...McCain has no idea how many houses he owns thanks to the mortgage crisis. Who did he buy them from? no one cares. Fox news is owned by a man who has bought reps to change laws for him. We still have a change to get them out & if we mess up this time it will be over...BTW, while everyone is worrying about Obama's parents now seems to care that McCain's mother is an oil heiress. He grew up the spoiled rich kid just like Bush.

  11. Her husband is an oil worker not one of the big money guys

I would expect you " more educated obama supporters" to know the difference

  12. Looks that way.

  13. Let me clue you in, O Clueless One (this is gonna be FUN)!

Palin's husband Todd has been an EMPLOYEE of an oil company (BP, I believe) --- as are many, many men in Alaska.  "First Dude's" job is in fact a big plus to the McCain campaign since that means the Palins have solid working class credentials.  Todd is even a member of the UNITED STEEL WORKERS UNION!  Just imagine how helpful this will be in the "rust belt". Especially places like the steel mills of Pennslyvania.  (I believe that "other guy"...uh, I mean Joe Biden, recently said that Obama CANNOT WIN without Pennsylvania!!!

As to Gov. Palin, she has a very solid record of butting heads with the big oil companies.  This will become known to more and more Americans as they go through the process of learning about her.

I love questions like this!  It allows the opportunity to showcase Palin's strengths in appealing to the blue collar/working class segment of both the Democrat and Republican Party (already a trouble spot for

O' bummer) I simply cannot wait until November!!!

edit: Oh, since you would like to bring the Bush/Cheney thing into the mix (Oh goody!!!!!)  Are you aware that Barak O'bummer voted YES to the Bush/Cheney Energy Bill and McCain voted NO.  Go look it up!  I dare ya!  It's a matter of the Congressional Record.

(I knew this was gonna' be fun!  Thanks for playing!)

  14. Oil and evangelical Christians. Greed and Ignorance. They should change their name to the GIP.

  15. Maybe Republicans like paying $4 for a gallon of gas.

  16. McCain/Palin in 2008*

  17. There are allot of LAWYER and medical people donating to Obama.  Look at the link research before pointing fingers.  LOL McCain's wife is in the BEER Business not the OIL Business.

  18. Now you getting to it.

  19. wow.....that's a stretch that only a democrat would find.  But I dont think "oilwomen" describes her at all (that would make all Alaska state residents "oilpeople" according to your reason)
