First/Third person??

Question

Okay, so I kind of need to use a certain technique in my story to explain some things. I was wondering what people thought of the point of view in a story changing between third and first person? Would it be confusing? Any tips to help make it work?

actually i am in love with books, and i feel that when an author switches between point of views like that it makes the story a little more interesting.i say to go for it. good luck on that one.

I don't understand why you want to do that but you could put the first person in regular print and then when you change to the third person perspective, you could italicize that text.

i think it would be confusing but other people might not even notice. I would stick with one or the other..hope it works
