Well, i just got them today and it took me almost an hr to put one contact side in. When i got it in, it started to burn. Not turning my eyes red but burning until my friend added Solution in my eye. So, i took them out and now my eyes are fine. All this happened to my left eye. What's going on?

  1. could be something that "looks like a wrinkle" in your contacts. that usually happens and burns like h**l until you take it out. or it could be inside out. or your left eye is more sensitive. my right eye is.

or your eyes are still getting used to them. just blink blink and blink like your getting paid for it and then next thing ya know it's fine

but by the end of the week everything should be fine.

  2. Most likely lint. Either it transferred from your finger to the lense, it landed on the lense when moved it toward your eye or in your frantic attempt to center the lense you picked something up.

Basically any foreign object on the lense will cause a severe burn several moments after you put the lense in. Take it out, let your eye rest of a moment, wash you hands, shake them dry, rinse the lense, and the try again.

I usually put my lenses in after I shower in the morning. So, I dry off and then wash my hands without soap, shake them dry and then put my lenses in. If you dry your hands with a towel then you'll just put a bunch of lint on your hands and then transfer some of it to your eye.
