First acoustic guitar.?

Question

Should I but a nylon or steel string guitar?

I really don't know what I'd be playing, I just want a bit of an all rounder.

i'd suggest you start out with a steel string acoustic..it really helps develop those calluses on your fingers and you can start playing those easy chord songs to really start loving the instrument. its also easier to switch from steelstring to classical or electric.

steel string ... unless if you want to play classical music

get steel...nylon strings are not always readily available at stores...and steel sounds great!

I always preferred steel.Go ahead and get calluses and if you decide to move on to a electric,then by no means would you be using nylon then.
