Question:

First acting gig should i go ?

well i'm 13 and got my first gig anyways i have never really done serious work outside of school plays (last one was in 3rd grade) and they say to relax and to when i go don't bring anything but expreience ....... and the rest goes on should i still go even though my acting level is not a+ perfect ???

  1. You should try no matter what, even if you feel inadequate. The only way to improve is to put in the effort, and I mean sooner than later. Auditions are a great way to gauge your experience and see how you match up to other people your age, who are no doubt going for the same role. Who knows maybe your acting level is just perfect for the project. Just try your best and rehearse like crazy beforehand. Even if you are not chosen this time, don't give up.


  2. Gotta know what the gig is to advise you. It they are going to put  you in a show, do it. You need the experience.

  3. first of all congratulations.  yes you should definitely try it out.  you have everything to gain and nothing to lose.
