First car Mitsubishi Eclipse 2003 GS?

Question

Im about to get my first car and me and my parents are looking at a Mitsubishi Eclipse GS model. Im wandering if this is goin to be a good choice or if you would suggest something else. I would want a car that looks sporty looking but my parents wont buy one that can go very very fast. This is why were looking at the GS model instead of the GT model. Also fuel efficiency is a pretty big deal to.
