  1. NO. Not a good idea.

Jeeps are GAS GUZZLERS, cost a fourtune to fix, and are always voted most unrealible car on the market. Your going to be spending all of your paycheck on gas and repair for that car.

And it depends what you want for a car. A good first SUV is the Toyota Rav-4. Of course its not the most reliable, but it gets good MPG, its reliable, and can fit five comfortably.

Good small cars are the nissan sentra, toyota corolla, and the honda civic. All of them are best sellers for a reason. They're good on gas, easy to find used, and keep good resale value.

Hatchbacks are also good choices for first cars. They offer the versatility of an SUV with the gas usage of a sedan. Good hatchbacks are: Toyota matrix/pontiac Vibe, honda civic hatchback, Mazda 3 hatchback, VW rabbit/Golf.

Test drive them all out and see which ones you like. Test drives are free :)

Also have a mechanic look at your car before you buy it! you don't want to buy a lemon.

  2. Not a good idea. Old with a lot of miles, not fuel efficient, not one of the safest vehicles.

  3. That was a very long lasting motor, and the miles are extremely low for the year. They are not good on gas, but I would bet the price is right as well!

I think it would be fine, since you probably won't drive an overabundance right away.

Remember it is your first car. You can always get something different, and I would bet at this point, whatever you pay for it you will be able to resell it for, less any repairs and keeping it in the same condition

  4. including a price might help
