First car situation?

Ive found a car which i am strongly considering buying, although i still have one more month till i gain my provisional licence.

The cars registration runs out just before i gain my P's,would it be a good option to allow my older brother to borrow the car,for the following month as he has not got a car?

Is this a good idea?thanks for the help.

  1. Why are you bothering to buy a car before you even get a license.

  2. NO, DONT EVER LEND YOUR CAR OUT!

  3. Never go for the first car you see. Look into the millions of reviews online and in books first, you'd be surprised at what's reliable and what's not. By the time the month is over, you might be happy you waited. Good luck.

  4. Ask the seller if they will extend the rego. If it's from a dealer they can extend it by 3, 6 or 12 months in NSW, if its from a Private seller they can do it for 12 months use this a a bargaining tool. IE; I buy it if you put 3 months rego on it...

If its the car you really want buy it, put it in the garage, use it to get your licence if you live in NSW you need to have 120 hours experience on your L's. you wont need to borrow any ones car if you have your own.
