First car with speed?

im interested in cars. ive herd that its not good to get a bmw m3 for a first car because of several reasons, so i was wondering if there are cars out there that have speed, not race car but not super slow (you know what i mean) and has the looks. i like the ideal of convertable but most only seat two. but the ,3,m6 that i saw on the bmw page shows that it can sit 4 or 5 i think. so i like the ideal of being able to sit at least four people.

so im asking is there cars out there for 4 people-5, convertible, not too expensive, good for a first car, good looking.

get yourself a 99 Buick regal GS supercharged. Its plenty fast and comfortable, plus for $3k you can make is REALLY fast with part available from SLP street legal perfomance

The M6 doesn't fall into the "not too expensive" category.

Most converts won't comfortably carry four or five people. Most coupes won't even do that. The Mercedes CLK is the only one I can really say has a decent back seat. It's definitely easy to find one used for cheap. Avoid Audi's A4/S4 just because it's an A4 and Audi doesn't do these right. Too much hassle for a first car. It's also not fast at all for the cheap trim.

A friend of mine has an M3 convertible and I generally dislike the entire vehicle. It's a bit heavy, cramped, ugly, and the interior layout repulses me. For the price, it shouldn't look so cheap. I also find that if I'm sitting in the back and anyone over 5'3" is up front, my knees dig into their seat.

One last note about convertibles: fabric roofs are easy to slash open with a knife. There goes the stuff inside your car and, if you're really unlucky, your car too.

BMW  Z3 or Z4 are two seaters.   Also fast cars that are reasonable are Mazda RX7's

American Muscle!.... I sold BMWs for 4 years and I can assure you, any BMW you buy will give you the performance you are looking for. However!, BMWs will also drain your wallet.  Bring My Wallet is no joke. Maintenance, parts, repairs, even fuel cost more. Everything about those cars is expensive, even the wipers cost double the avg cars and Heaven help you if you have any major problems at 65k miles!   If you want Power! Looks! cheap to buy and cheap to keep, look at a convertible camaro or firebird from the late 90s. They are big, fast and to some people retro s**y. Good luck just remember. the True cost of a car doesn't stop at how much you buy it for, its how much it cost to keep it that gets ya

you are most likley not gonna be able to afford a new m3 and definetly not an m6

rx7s are not a first car....unless ur rich or u get the old *** ones ...new ones 90s and up are fast but rare expensive and complicated for the average technician

regals are not fast not even supercharged ones... but i must admit i like the old turbo ones and even the newest sc

fastest cheap car for a kid would be

awd dsm

since u like convertables get a 2g dsm

although convetables compromise speed and safety and are more for women its ur choice

if u dont like imports

go with rwd lt1 f body which also have convetables and my personal choice t-tops

uv got a long way to go if ur not rich enuff to afford already fast cars ....m6s
