  4. ne of the biggest obstacles to getting your first credit card is that you may not have a credit history at all yet. This means there is no information for the lender to base their decision upon. Yet there are some lenders who understand this and strive to make credit cards available to those with no credit. This is an excellent way to get your foot in the door and to establish a pattern of paying your debts on time.

Some individuals are quite careless with their credit from the start and they don’t realize the impact it has on them. They are afraid to apply for a credit card due to their bad credit. However, there are many credit card offers out there for bad credit. Of course you will have a lower credit limit and a higher interest rate but still you can get one to use for emergencies.

You need to take the time to find the best credit card offers out there for your particular situation. You may discover you have to apply for a secured credit card. This means some type of collateral is attached to it. In many instances you have to pay a certain amount of money. You will then get a low credit limit that isn’t much more than your deposit. Should you default they will keep your deposit amount so the risk isn’t as high for them.

One of the reasons why there are credit card offers for people with bad credit is that everyone deserves a second chance. Your credit rating may be your own fault or due to circumstances beyond your control. Yet if you are able to learn the right way to use your credit card you will be fine. It isn’t a ticket to go out and shop until you drop.

You also need to show you are responsible for it by making all of your payments on time. Don’t get into the habit of paying only that low minimum that they will accept either. Those consumers who do will find it takes forever to get out from under the balance they have accumulated.

It can be tough to get that first credit card due to no credit or to bad credit. Take the time to identify the best credit card offers for your particular situation. Even if the terms aren’t optimal, keep in mind that as you show responsibility with it you can get a better deal. This can be from that credit card company or through one that offers you a better deal later on.

  6. When applying for a credit card, make sure that you apply for cards with no annual fees and low APR. If you are a student, l would suggest applying for a student credit card or applying for cards for people who are new in credit.  http://bestcreditcardratings.com/student...

  7. there are two ways you could start credit one or them is taking out a small personal loan which you might need a parent or an adult to co-sign for you meaning if you do not pay the loan they will. Or you could apply for a credit card for bad or no credit which most likely will get you approved no matter what, but if you are a student you could get a student credit card which will offer you lower rates and no annual fees, check out www.fastcreditcardapprovals.com and go under bad or no credit or student cards. good luck

  8. Well you're going to want  to look for a card that offers a low interest rate and since you're 18 and I'm assuming have no negative credit most credit card companies are happy to get you started on building your credit. As far as getting into debt when  you do get a card, that's entirely up to you. Use it wisely! Try making small purchases so you can pay the balance when the bill is due. As I said, look for a card that offers a low APR and possibly will offer incentives if that is something that will interest you.  Try to avoid cards with alot of fees. This site has over 100 cards to chose from. Look for something that appeals to you. Good Luck!
