First cycle since having baby! TMI... WOMEN only!?

hello. i had my baby 2 months ago and for about 3 days now i have had what i think is my period but its really weird so i was just wondering if this was normal. i am spotting extremely light and i have a lot of clear gooey mucusy stuff when i wipe. i am not on bc (getting a IUD in in about a week) and my periods before being pregnant have always been heacy and i had a lot of cramps but now i have very minimal cramping. is this normal or should i call my gynecologist?

  1. I agree with the first person. It's all normal unless it gets worse. Don't worry.  


  2. I would say this is still lochia from post partum bleeding.  I had it for over two months.  It would stop and start again.  It started to turn into a sick joke!  Anyway..... Unless you begin to wet a pad every hour for three hours...... or else smell infection.... notice any green discharge.... are running a fever..... or a suffering from severe cramps.... I wouldn't worry to much about it.  Unless you get any of the symtoms listed above.... then just wait until your checkup to ask your gyno.  Best of luck to you.
