First date: Where should we go?

A well-known downtown bar (that has great food)

It's kind of a blind date, I've talked to him on the phone and seen pictures but havn't met face to face yet. I'm planning on just wearing nice jeans and a sweater, so nothing super nice o.o hmmmmm damnn i wish i had more dating experience ;)

Either one sounds fine.  Consider letting him pick as it is a first date and it is kinda traditional for a guy to do that.  That will also give you an idea of what kind of guy he is, because you will get a sense of him from what he chooses.  Also, someone mentioned a movie, but that is a first date disaster.  The whole point of a first date is t feel eash other out and see if you connect at all.  Ya can't do that if you go somewhere where you are expected to be quiet

That Crave place sounds good. Especially if neither of you have been there before and it's an interesting place with eclectic food, then it might give you guys something extra to talk about.

I heard this in a movie,.

...a guy says for a first date you should suggest going out for a drink, because then its just a drink,.

...you can see if you like each other well enough to go for dinner or see each other again,.

whereas if  you go for dinner and you immediately dislike that person,. your stuck with them for ages!!!

1) sounds like it might be snooty, I'd say no unless you've been there before and liked it

2)sounds noisy and crowded

3 and 4) I am not familiar with these places but they seem like the best choice from what you have offered

Go to Crave it is a first date & you want it to be memorable.  Don't go to bars unless you want to see if someone is a lush.
