  1. I just answered this for someone else too. The first day of autumn will occur on the morning of September 23, 2008 at 12:55 am. Eastern daylight savings time. But it will be at 11:55 pm in the evening of Central Daylight savings time on September 22. Mountain and Pacific time will be 10:55 and 9:55 pm also on September 22, 2008.


  2. My calendar says September 22nd. It's a monday.
