First day of high school coming up. any advice?

so schools coming up on sept 2.im really outgoing,but im sorta nervous bcause its pretty big, and only 3 people from my middle school will be there.(its an academy for performing arts, but its inside a regualr high school. like, all of my regular classes will be with the regualr high school kids, but my electives will be with theatre and vocal kids.)im 13 right now, and im turning 14 on sept 23, so ill be 13 in highs school :(anyways, is there anything i should know before i go? is freshmen friday really bad?what should i do the week before to get my self ready(get nails done, bubble bath, stuff like that)any adivice would be awesome :)

Dont go in ther thinking your the **** and that you run the school. Just be laid back, be yourself and the rest will fall in place. I didnt even have freshmen friday... i think that its kinda old now and plus that would have gave the freshmen a reason to start fighting back, so nothing happened.

upperclassmen are nobody to be scared of... im going into my junior year and i mostly had problems within my own grade, the upperclassmen were cool as h**l.

hey! im starting at a peforming arts high school too! my first days in a week. i went to the orientation and it seems awesome. so i wish i could be able to tell you what to expect, but i cant. i only know a few people from my middle school too. and only two of my friends are going. so good luck!

dont pretend to be something your not because people will use that to not like you. just be yourself, be friendly, and dont get in the upperclassmans way

highschool in my country starts when you are 15-16 and the school starts on 15 september anywhay if you want any advice highschool then dont atract atention on urself in the first year and of course dont be nervous your 3 friends will be there :) btw im a high school freshman too but i have 14 CLASSMATES in that highschool ^^

I guess it depends really on what high school you go to freshmen year was not too bad for me all those rumors that you get picked on by seniors is bull just be yourself and its going to be okay.

high is exactly the same as middle school, which is exactly the same as kindergarten except for all the attention from teachers... so dont get all worked up about it, and i also was 13 freshman year.. did it make a difference? nope

Hey! Im starting High School too! Well, once I got to my High School orintation, I was my self, I was being really fun and goofy. I walked up to random people and asked what they'e name was and what were their classes. And do they same thing, but if you see that same person again, wave and call their name out, you can become friends like that...

In my school they dont really do Freshman stuff anymore, if they did they would be suspended.. But if hey did, it'll be like taping people and throwing paint.

Yeah, maybe 3 days before school starts, wash your hair, do you nails, scrub your heels, brush your teeth longer, and KEEP YOUR FACE CLEAN. No one wants to go to school (especailly first day) with a HUGE zit on your face :)

my first days comming up to and my best advice is just be your regualr outgoing self. talk to those around you about anything. get to know who you like and dislike.,, get to know the school and atmosphere around you!

mine 2 it crazy i have no idea what to think or do because no one from my middle school is going to this high school so i'm scared but i will try to be myself and so should you have fun i no it nerv raking but you can do it!

don't over dress or you will come of to exited. just dress casually. smile at everyone and don't be rude because last thing you need to do is make enemy's.

well just know that high school is  a lot harder. also everyone in high school is finding themselves so situations are going to get a lot more hectic. the next four years are going to be crazy because your more mature and you take on more responsibility but its suppose to be fun too!

freshman friday isnt bad, just keep to yourself and stay quiet. go straight home! lol

Dont look lile a s**t. But dont look like your grandma.

Year make-up. But not too much, so what you would normally wear. Straighten or curl your hair. Do something nice with it. Dont blend in too much. You want to be noticed but in a good way. Make sure you look the best you can. Try and bend the school uniform rules. So if your skirt has to be knee length, wear it a bit higher so it becomes shorter.
