I'm not good at talking to people at all. Heck I'm in the 12th grade and still have no friends, although for some reason I just don't want to be friends with anybody at school. I don't like them. But I'll tell you what some other kids told me. I had this class full of girls and just me and one other guy. He just went up to me and talked about the girls in the class and lack of guys. I just nodded. We're not really friends, just aquantinces now. So just talk about maybe how someone's summer went, what school they came from, what the class is going to be like. Anything really. I remember on my first day, most of my classes were dead silent, except for the afternoon ones. That's usually when people have had luch and have more energy to talk.

you should add a little more detail but you could say what junior high did you go to. or just say hi, I'm _____.

Well, I guess it depends on who your looking to talk to...

Girls?

Guys?

Upper Class men?

My sugestion is to not worry about who you'll be talking to.  You should first get to know the building, your schedual, etc.  Take it from me, I was in your position last year...

High school will be amazing.  Probably the best and the worst few years of your life.
