  1. don't worry!

getting lost: you will. but teachers aren't going to mark you late the first week. you'll learn your way around fast. plus, they'll probably give you a map and there will be aids/teachers stationed in the halls to help you.

lunch: do you have friends in your lunch? if not, strike up a conversation with someone friendly and ask if you can eat lunch with them.

older kids: they dont care about you, honestly. just stay out of their way and they wont even notice you. they are focused on more important things than the incoming freshman=p

  2. Take it easy. Most people are nice. All the freshmen are in the same boat. If you don't trust a kid for help, ask any faculty. They'll understand.

    Good Luck!

  3. nah, my first day of high school wasn't even as bad as i thought it would be because i still had my friends with me. when i got my classes though i was a little scared but then a few days later i started talking to a few kids in my classes and began to make friends. it's very easy all you have to do is be OUT THERE! and as for the older kids well in my school they didn't really bother you they could care less about what you were doing.( i guess it's different in other high schools though) cuz where i go to cliques aren't really a big thing. but HEY just stick to what you do best have fun and High School will be a blast!

just don't get caught up in too much drama.

  4. its not bad trust me!!!! i'm a sophomore i was in your shoes last year.Yes it might be hard to find your classes at first but no big deal just ask for directions.Oh and ignore people that pick on you there just joking around.

they have all beeen in your shoes .they have all been called fresh meat etc...... its there turn to call you newbies that. But its not that bad really just chill

  5. It's actually pretty awesome =D

I'm assuming your friends from previous school years will be with you, so just stick together and everything will be fine.

Just make sure you stand out for being funny and nice, not mean or weird and you won't have to worry bullies.

But trust me, you won't get tortured by the older kids. Usually they think its fun just to watch younger kids do the newbie stuff they did.

And don't get too worked up about getting lost... schools are actually pretty easy to find your way around.

    You'll have a blast, I promise ;)

  6. It's like going to the fair.

  7. freshmen always think of the worst possible thing that can happen! trust me its not that bad. all you need to do is make sure you have a friend at lunch (cuz lunch really sucks when you don't have friends). but otherwise you should be fine. good luck!

  8. Well, no one can go ahead of time and tell you exactly how your first day is. From my own experience, just follow the schedule and its the first day most school teachers allow lateness and you shouldnt worry about older kids there should be teachers in the halls guiding new students :]

well most of what im telling you, i dont know if it would apply but most school do follow the above. :]

    GOOD LUCK

  9. When I first started high school, everything went the same way I would expect from a middle school.  I didn't get lost because I had my schedule, the cafeteria food was all right (you could buy milkshakes, cookies, and tons of other goodies), and many students were nice to me.

So you see, these things can happen to you.  Just be yourself and continue to do what you are supposed to do in high school.

    Good luck!
