Tomorrow is my first day of school. I am a freshman. Are there any helpful tips you have? I already know the whole "be yourself" thing. I want tips on clothes, hair, approaching people... etc. Thanks!

  1. yea what pink said pretty much was best

  2. arepostle american eagle ambercrombie and fitch and last but not least actually the best be your self

  3. Tell your teachers that you are not a kind of student to listen to whatever they say, tell them u want to be free in the class....

So they wont bite u for the next of the term.

  4. hey im in high school um best store is PAC-SUN

  5. Wear clothes that make you feel confident. Don't worry about what others think about you (I know that's hard to do in high school!) and wear what looks good on YOU. Ask your friends and/or family for feedback on your outfit for the first day so that you don't go to school wondering what others are going to think about what you are wearing. Don't overdo it or you will look too dressed up, but wear something nice that reflects your own style. Most girls will be wearing jeans with a cute top or several layered tops. Cropped vests are going to be popular this year as well as babydoll tops with leggings underneath.  As for your hair, if you want to do something different, I say go for it, but make sure that you try it out before the morning of the first day to make sure it looks good on you. Look in magazines for ideas. But most girls will be wearing their hair down.

The best day of the year to make new friends is the first day because everyone is nervous and unsure about what they are supposed to do and looking for someone to be friends with. Talk to the person next to you in class. Be friendly! Sometimes the people that you randomly talk to on the first day of school can become your best friends :)

  6. Clothes- Always wear something the first day that you're confident and comfortbale in. Don't wear new shoes that will cause you blisters, if you still want to bring band-aids with you. Don't wear something you have to adjust every 2 seconds, you won't be able to focus.

Hair and make-up: Don't do something extreme so you don't look like you normally do. Do everything you would do on a normal day of school so people get the right impression of you.

Approaching people: It's everyone else in your classes first day as well, so don't feel wierd about being new. A great way to start a conversation with someone is to compliment them and start a conversation from there.

Everything will be fine, good luck!
