ahhh. i'm so freaked out!

any tips?

btw, i live in a small town. not a big city, so the school only has like 400 kids in it.

lol it is gonna be alright its normal to be all nervous but its gonna be better than you think. don't stress too much and get enough sleep cause you don't want to be or look all tired lol just be cool about it and be yourself. don't act like something you think you need to be when your in high school, just be yourself

Lucky duck.  My high school has like, nine-hundred kids.  There's nothing big about high school.  It's not how it's portrayed in movies, it's a h**l of a lot duller, I promise.  Don't freak out, say 'excuse me' in the hallways, and just relax.  Oh, and seriously DO YOUR HOMEWORK.  I didn't, and I almost failed my first year...almost.

dont worry you'll be fine , its normal to be nervous for ur first day of highschool it happends to alot of people. im going to be going to 10th grade i was nervous on my first day of school but then it ended up being just fine . You have nothing to worry about. :)

I live in a small town too. 800 people in my whole school...

But it seems like a lot cause I am coming from a school of 150 people.

Anyways. just try to relax. find some people you know to hang with and find classes with. if all else fails smile, look friendly, and make new friends. That is what i plan to do.

my 1st day was today...

and i live in a BIG CITY

4,000 kids at my high school

yep thats right i'm a freshman

i wasn't that nervous at all

and people in high school are way more mature than kids in middle school

and remember everyone else in the 9th grade is just like you

a little nervous and unaware today i got a little lost.

But it helps if you have a map and just ask somebody!!!

Your school doesn't seem that big so yeah.

Just everything is going to be fine.
