First day of highschool sucked!?

all my friends went to differnet schools, the people in my class dont talk much, everybody already got friends..............any suggestions?

I felt the exact same way my first day as a freshman.  All of my friends went to different schools, and the ones that went to my school didn't have the same classes or lunch with me.  That was when it kinda struck me that I needed to make some new friends.  Say hi to people in your class, ask how they're doing, talk about different subjects you guys have, or interest/hobbies, whatever it may be that would earn you a new friend =)  I'm now a junior in high school, and I know people in all my classes.  So it will all be better, it just takes time =)  Oh yea, bare in mind that majority of freshmen are probably in the same situation as you are.
