First day of school outfit! How can I spruce it up?

What do you guys think about this? I'm wonder how to accessorize, like what colors and what I should wear? Is it too plain?

Also, any tips on hair and makeup? Or anything I should change?

The shirt isn't exactly the same, it's the closest I could find. The bottom flares out a little and the sleeves are thicker.

Hey okay so I think that the white tank and jean shorts might be a bit too plain but thats okay if you wanted it to be like that. A good color that makes plain pop is gold. so if you have some gold bangles or a necklace, earings accesories like that would work. For hair I would curl it and just let it down because a curl is somewhat formal so that it would make it little dressier. and for makeup. a soft pink blush, brown liner. a gold or whitish eyeshadow. with soft pink lipgloss. help, glad it does. :)

Personally i think its really cute. If you have the right body for it.  Like your going to be showing a lot of legs so scars and bruises must be non- existent. It would be real cute if you let your hair down and straight or if you want a bit more attention make some pretty curls. Paint your nails the same color as your shoes too. And make sure to wear cute earrings like some cute gold hoops, not too big though. A nice bracelet and ankle braclet too. Because those converses your ankles are gonna be exposed so decorate you ankle. Also wear a cute necklace something like this http://shop.pacsun.com/accessories/girls...

And as for makeup the secret is to make it look like you have none.

Make it very light boys dont like caked on makeup, too much just looks gross.

wow, ur lucky u get to wear tank tops and shorts. But, I suggest a necklace def. and do your make up natural w/ some eyeliner and lipgloss.

OK let me describe that outfit in 1 word: HOTT! But to spruce it up you could use either leggings under the shorts or a really cute solid long sleeve shirt/sweater under the tank top or you could wear an awesome jacket over it-and/or u could use a really funky kool belt with color of some sort or some awesome accesories! And i would wear my hair down starightened with my bangs clipped back on the top of my head like this- http://z.about.com/d/movies/1/0/w/N/P/sh... - and use lip gloss FOR SURE-if you can a frosty light pink-and use a lengthening curling mascara(or use lengthening with a curler) i reccomend CoverGirl LashBlast!(maybe a little liquid eyeliner) But make sure the makeup is light and cute -just accentuate your natural beauty!

well if i were you it really depends on your hair length...i would pull your hair back in a low side pony...curl it and wrap a section around the pony...or for shorter hair just leave it down and curled.....accessories???? wear a blue or white bracelet and do the opposite for a necklace......wear black around your eyes.....to make them smokey...dont over do it though....and wear some bronzer and lip gloss

that is really cute.  add some jewelery. silver or blue hoops will really compliment your outfit.   id do a straight  ponytail or down.  love the shoes. make sure socks are not visible.  work your outfit!!
