First day of school question??

ok well in 9th grade i was in independent study now in 10th grade im going to public school...

QUESTION#1-wut i dont kno is should i be bringing a back pack like this http://www.shoestation.com/shoestation/product.asp?dept_id=3588&pf_id=PAAAIAGNBDBGCDFB&ad_id=froogle&key_id=PAAAIAGNBDBGCDFB& or should i just take my purse?

QUESTION #2-- what should i bring for the first day?

QUESTION#3-- will i be getting a locker for the first day or will i be getting one later in the week?

1- Take your purse. its prob much nicer that a back pack.

2- Bring a lot of stuff for you locker like magnets, pictures, mirrors, and stuff like that

3- I think you will be getting your locker the first day

Your deff going to need more than just a purse. You might want to even get a bigger bookbag. Try an L.L Bean bookbag. Thats what I have and it has plenty of space for all of my books. Most likely your school will have an orientation or something like it before the first day of school and they will tell you the supplies that you need to bring. If they don't, bring some pencils, pens, paper, a notebook, and a binder. It really depends on schools with lockers. At my school we get them the first day and have to pay like a dollar for the lock. Other schools you don't need to pay and you might get your locker later in the week. Also are you taking your lunch or buying it in the cafeteria. If your planning on buying lunch bring about four dollars just in case its expensive. Some lunches are about 1.75 and you get a food, two sides, and a milk carton. Good Luck on your first day!

Yes, definitely bring a back pack.  You'll most likely have lots of books to haul home from school.  For high school you don't need anything special as far as school supplies go, a couple folders and notebooks (you could get one for each subject) and then some pencils and pens. At all the schools I've been to you get assigned a locker the first day, that's probably how it'll be with yours too because kids need to unpack their c**p so they aren't carrying it around from class to class.  Good luck! =]

just bring a note book for the first day, then see what your teachers would like you to have, most want a 3 ring binder just for their class

and you should get a locker before school starts you'll be getting your schedule and it should have something about your locker, if you haven't heard from the school, call and ask

OH and the book bag, i haven't used one since i got in high school i just carry my tote bag everywhere

most schools do not allow backpacks now becuase of safety issues so i would not buy one until you made sure about that you should get  a list of the supplies you need if not they will let you know the first day each class will probably require different things and yes you will get a locker the first day of school

Answer one.  Backpack is cute but tote bags are popular.

purse is alright to carry from class 2 class

but you'll need a bag to carry your homework in when u leave

answer 2.  all i needed was a folder since they gave out papers (medical stuff) and i had summer work to turn it.  i brought a pencil and pen.  and i brought a notebook though i didn't need it..i think

question 3-  i got my locker assingment when i got my schedule

ok get a cute tote bag like this and just bring a notebook on the 1st day and write down what you would need for the class like a binder/folder or something and put your binder and this in the bag

and bring a purse too and at my highschool you buy a lock or you dont get a ;ocker but i dont recommend getting a locker thats what the bag is for

1) just get a tote bag to bring with you. don't bring a purse. if you like that bag, then bring it in place of a tote.

2)uhm, school supplies would be a good place to start?

3)the first day. why would you get one later in the week? that makes next to no sense whatsoever.
