First day of school really nervous please help?

i have arrived the US like for months ago, and I'm starting school soon. I'm sooo nervous because everything is soo different here. back in my school i had an uniform and no one ever considered wearing make up to school, i mean , it was just weird. it was just a girls school so it was just a waste of time. but ive seen that girls ware make up to school here. but I'm really not used to it and it doesn't go with my personality and i don't feel comfortable. what should i do? does EVERYONE wear? am i gonna be like different from everyone else?

im going to eleventh.

and why is everyone so worried about what they should wear to the first day of school? is it really so important?

Where are you from, just out of curiosity?

It's ok to not want to wear makeup.  Lots of girls don't.

I personally feel the first outfit sets a tone.  I like to wear something fun, classy, but that also says, "I'm hear to learn, MOLD MY MIND!"

Try a pair of jeans or jean shorts and a fun T-shirt.  :D
