First day of work ( training ) on wednesday help please...

i start training at JCpenney on wednesday this will be my first job

it starts at 2:30..when do you think I will be out? how long does training take?

You should have asked them how long your shift is! Typically shifts are 8 hours, but I'm not sure if the store is open until 10:30 - there's a good chance you're going to be there until the store closes (no later than perhaps half an hour after to help clean up). The length of training also depends on the company and size of the store - you might only train for an hour and then they'll put you on the floor right away, or you might spend the whole shift shadowing someone at the cash register.

Either way, I'm sure you'll be fine! Make sure to dress nicely and show up at least 15 minutes before to make a good impression. And don't be afraid to ask questions! They know you're new and you don't know much (if anything) about the job, so don't worry! Good luck :)

Training is usually "on the job training" you will probably be showed around by someone and you will be doing a little bit of work to see how fast you pick up. Its going to be a scared excited feeling I know. I start mine on Tuesday. Your training should be 6-8 hours or whatever your normal schedule will be. Dress to impress that is what JC Penny likes neat ppl
