First diagnosis was acute spinal injury?

then doctor's just mentioned something about neurovirol. Doctor's had to get water from the spine but they couldn't get any. what could be the problem? what could be the real diagnosis?

  1. It sounds like they were doing what's called a "lumbar puncture" or spinal tap to check for bacteria (infection) in your central nervous system. They draw out some of the fluid that circulates around the brain and spinal cord and run tests on it.

    Neuroviral would mean that they wanted to check for a virus in your central nervous system, specifically your brain.

    I can't guess as to why they weren't able to do a spinal tap, but if you had an acute spinal cord injury you should be receiving treatment.

    I suggest you speak with your doctor, request records, and get this figured out straight away.
