First felony why 6month. why gambling is not an addiction but drug is, please advices,

any lawyer out there whose can help me without being in jail away from my kids for 9 months, I trully sorry for my mistake, first offense, is there another way out for a gambling addiction that needs help. i have loose everythings, please help me..

very good question, just goes to shwo the legal system is a absolute disgusting joke.  Just think of the people that are in there for 10 years man.  You can make it although you dont think you can.  I did 3 months before for a felony too back in 2004 and lost everything I had as well.  You WILL get thru it with the help of your family.  Talk with a public defender and ask him or her if you could be put on house arrest because the jails are so crowded anyway.  Tell them you are willing to take counseling also.  I dont know what else to say.  You will be fine, dont let what anyone says get you down either.  They just havent been caught yet
