what are your most memorable moments so far in the NASCAR 2008 season?

My most memorable moment so far of this season is how the COT is making the cup series boring!!!

the good: the two races at daytona - especially the coke zero 400 - were great races from beginning to end, as was the nationwide race the night before; rowdy bringing the #18 back to victory lane in atlanta and getting toyota's first win - as well as his nearly winning all three series races there...; junior's michigan win on father's day; kurt's win at loudon; the incredible 1-2 position battle and the 3-4-5 position battle in the truck series race at michigan; kasey going from "out of the show" to "best in breed" during the all-star race; kyle shooting from last to first in 40 laps at kentucky; pretty much any post-wreck interview with tony or kyle

the bad: the three-way domino crash at infineon (harvick, mcmurray, stewart); rowdy merging without signaling at pocono; the "big one" so early on at dover; the logano, biffle, busch crash in logano's second nationwide race; kyle's self-spin at kentucky; waltrip ramming mears down the backstretch at richmond; hamlin's nns post-race interview re: keselowski; two or three of bowyer's nns post-race interviews..

the ugly: rowdy and junior busting out of turn two at richmond side by side was a highlight, going into turn three was a lowlight; rowdy getting into johnny benson on the last lap at martinsville; mcmurray plowing into junior at loudon; jpm spinning rowdy under caution; gordon slamming into the infield wall at vegas, spraying parts everywhere; mcdowell's qualifying crash

good was talladega the COT just seems so great their denny hamlin pushing any car he wanted to front was a great sight to see.

bad take kahne out and 4 teams represent the top 12 COT doesnt seem to be doing its job

Michael McDowell's wreck at Texas Motor Speedway during qualifying. For some reason it just remains amazing  the impact he took and walked away. Also Jeff Gordon's wreck too.

Good:  Junior going to Hendricks, gettin his first win at Michigan, a win is a win. The long streak has ended and his consistency....& Jimmy finally gettin his win. Ryan Newman wins the Daytona 500..Hello Newman!

Not so good: The tire issues and McDowells wreck at Texas in qualifing. Sure glad he had someone riding with him that day.

I have more, but those are the top highlights for me. =o`)

2. Kyle Busch winning Atlanta, Toyota's first win

3. Jeff Gordon and Matt Kenseth wrecking with 2 to go at Las Vegas, with Gordon wrecking hard

4. The slowest flip I've ever seen at California when Mears flipped

5. Richmond

6. Kyle Busch's Talladega win, I was scared Juan Pablo was going to wreck him if he got the chance, but the caution came out before he could lol (Juan made up for it at NH)...oh yeah and that crazy save with McMurray

7. Darlington was an awesome race I loved it.

8. And the race the other night was great, too.

9. Infineon was awesome, I was at a birthday party for the first part and I didn't think Kyle was going to do good because he started 30th, and when I finally was able to listen to the radio I found out he was in first somehow and he went on to win...so that one was cool.

10. Jimmie Johnsons win at Phoenix was cool, too, even though I was kinda pullin for Mark Martin to get another win, never really liked Martin, though. Just would have been good to see him win again.

Kyle's win at Darlington was my favorite moment of the season.

edit: I'd like to add that Steven Wallace gave my son someone to look up to :)

The good: the "streak" is dead and gone, finally.  Jr's consistency, Jr Motorsports running strong in NW Series, Tony leaving Yota, COT @ short tracks and Superspeedways.

The bad: Jimmie and Stewart (among other top guys) are somewhat struggling, in one half season I've already heard the name "Logano" way too many times, COT @ intermediate tracks.

Well so far mine is Kurt's win at Loudon. I don't care how he won it he won it and him pushing Ryan to the win at Daytona.(Of course my moments are biased, sorry). The next would be Dale Jr winning at Michigan and getting the monkey off his back and making alot of  my friends very happy.(dalejr4ever). And finally Kyle Busch's dominence(and winning at every kinda track) so far this year.

I gave this a lot of thought! My most memorable moment of the season was when Kyle Busch took Dale Jr. out at Richmond, while racing hard for the win, and still ended up second!

I knew this whole thing would create a lot of bad feelings between Jr. nation and Kyle Busch! But I don't care, I just like good hard racing for the win and don't care in the least how the points shake out!!!
