First lesson?

I am starting skating lessons on Saturday.(yay!) I can skate forward, do forward and backward swizzles and forward and backward wiggles very well. I am just starting forward crossovers. What do you think I will learn on my first lesson? It is private lessons and I have been a recreational skater for a long time so I am very comfortable on the ice.

  1. possibly some edge work, turns, crossovers, two foot spin and maybe a spiral.

  2. Your coach will probably go over the stuff you already know how to do and fix any little problems you might have with those moves.  Then move on to forward crossovers, edges, and backward stroking.  Depending on the coach, she might throw in something fun, like a lunge, spiral, bunny hop, or a two-foot spin.  Have fun:)

  3. I was like you when i had my 1st lesson. The coach will ask you do to what you can already. Probaly a 2 foot spins, bunny hop drag, and i did waltz jumps too. And backwards and forwards x's probs.

  4. probably forward crossovers, maybe backward crossovers.

possibly a lunge or spiral. maybe a 2 foot spin, n possibly backward slaloms.
