  1. Definitely go to the 600 first. 250's are a waste of your time and you're gonna pick it up wicked fast. I could also agree on the 750 as a first bike but anymore, you might get yourself in a world of trouble w/ the gixxer. Gixxer or CBR600, definitely great starter bike. Enough power to keep you humble so you learn the ins and outs of the bike, yet easy enough to learn and become one with to enjoy it. You start out on a 600 and your 2nd bike will be the liter bike. Speed? Gixxer. Handling and maintenance? CBR. That's all you gotta know. lol Good luck and congrats on the bike bro.

  2. don't get a 250cc! people that say that must have a lot of money to buy a new bike whenever they want b/c after about 2 weeks you're going to want to buy a new, bigger one.

i suggest a gixxer 750cc. after being on a 600cc you'll want something with more balls, and if you get a 1000cc you'll wish you got something lighter you can throw around easier.

  3. Not alot of people have a Daytona 675, if you want to be different go with that.  If you're going by the saying "win on Sunday, buy on Monday" go with the 6r, in '04-'05 that was the 600 to beat on the track.  Either choice would be good.
