Question

I made a video for a project and I recored it onto a cd using a dvd recorder and, it works on the dvd recorder/player but it doesnt work on anyother DVD player does anybody no why????

im not sure why...but i think you shouldve used a tape instead.  but then again im just old fashioned.  lol.  it could because it has a little code imprinted on it so it wont play anywhere else?

I know on the DVD video cameras, you have to close/finalize the DVD before you can play the DVD on a standard DVD player.  It will be able to be playable on the camera until it is finalized, but won't play on a standard DVD player.  Maybe you have to do the same with the DVD recorder.
