First pee of the day?

I've heard it was better to use the "first pee of the day" to get the best pregnancy test results, is this true?

How much of a difference would it make if I took a HTP with the second pee of the day?

In your experience, did you find the results any different from using the first pee of the day or does it really matter?

Your best with the first pee of the day because it has a higher concentration of the HCG hormone that the test is looking for. Some people will get a negative with later pee, depending on how far along you are. If it's still early and you haven't missed a period yet, you'd definitely want to use the first pee.

I took all of mine late at night, not the first pee of the day, which if you are pregnant, is usually around 3 in the morning, cause you will find yourself waking up in the middle of the night to pee. All of mine were positive the day I missed my period, with about mid evening pee. I don't really think there is a difference. However, if you drink a lot, and pee a lot, there won't be enough time for it to build up in your urine to detect. From my experience, it didn't matter.

I took all my tests at night, and I got all bright positives.  I took another one in the morning, it came out with a very faint positive.  I like taking mine during the day or atnight better.  To me it does not really matter regardless of people saying it does make a difference.  If your pregnant, your pregnant, morning or night isn't going to make you any less pregnant.  You may get a lighter positive during one time of the day and a darker positive during another time of the day.

I peed on the stick at 6pm and it showed up positive RIGHT away. I took another one the next morning. Same thing. But it wasn't my first pee because I always go to the bathroom once or twice throughout the night anyway. So I don't think it really matters.

no.. thats not true... you should get you pregnancy test in the hospital for accurate results.. those  ordinary pregnancy test gives inaccurate results..

Yes they say that the 1st urine of the day is more efficient of detecting the pregnancy hormone. I believe if ur pregnant, it will show up anyway. I took 2 pregnancy tests at night and they both came out positive just as big and bold.

First response can be used with any pee of the day.

depends how far you are if you were. i peed at tea time and came up positive within 3 seconds, but if you aren't very far then first pee is best because it's more concentrated, so contains more hormone.

I took my HPT at 10:30 in the morning and it came up immediately  positive, then same when I took another 45 minutes later.

I got these 2 HPT at the Family Dollar Store.
