Question:

First period after a miscarriage?

I had a miscarriage a few weeks ago and I think I am on my period but it is not normal. It is brown, no hint of red at all. It is also pretty light. Should I be worried about this? I'm not sure why it is brown, and it has been doing this a few days. Can someone give me some information about this if you have been through it? I am going back and forth over if I need to call my Doctor or not.

  1. I would think that its old blood and lining from your uterus.  I am very sorry for your loss.  Just call the doctor anyway and let him tell you what it is.  But I am sure you are fine and your periods will be a little off for a while until your lining gets back to normal.  Hang in there!

  2. Sounds like its old blood but dont stay with the doubt and just call ur doc and double check and am so sorry what ur goin through I have been there twice but luckilly am prego again

  3. you might get weird peiods for the next couple months

thats why they say wait 3 cycles, before trying again

    im sorry for you loss

i just went thru a miscarriage too...

  4. I have had several miscarriages. Brown blood is old blood and it is normal to have brown bleeding after a miscarriage. It may not be your period at all....just left over blood from the miscarriage. But you can call your doctor just to make sure. I am sorry to hear about your loss.
