Was your first period more painful than your periods before pregnancy??

I just got my first one and it's a doozy! Crazy cramps and heavy bleeding. I don't remember them being this painful before, but maybe it has just been so long since I had one that my memory is blurred! lol I told my husband I wanted to get pregnant again so I didn't have a period! (totally joking)

  1. Yes my first period was definitely different. It also became regular (every month at the same time) for the first time in my life. Not too excited about that, really.

What has really helped me during my period is taking IBUPROFEN at the very start of my period and taking it every 4 hours until everything's done. The antiinflamatory really helps the cramps.

  2. Yes your body is going back to normal since you havent had a period in so long its just your body recovering and the next one shouldnt be as bad just keep your feet up painkillers by your side and relax this one out!!!!

  3. The same thing happened to me. I never even used to get cramps. With every period I got after that one it's gotten better. I am back to having no cramps. My baby girl is 6 moths old. There is hope. LOL :>

  4. mine are like this on a bad one, im sure it happens to most girls, but to be safe, go to see your doctor in case there is something wrong

  5. I just had a baby myself and my first period after was painful, weird , and just down right depressing. I to thought being pregnant is better lol, ( except the weak bladder, breathlessness and of course the final delivery) lol. dont stress.
