  1. yes it normal and it lasts 3-7 days, 2 if ur lucky.... really lucky!!! and u might wanna try the variety pack from always cuz sum days its light and barely shows other days its heavy and staines ur panties, yes through the pad!!!!

  2. I am a CCMA

You need to change your pad every 2 to 4 hours when you are active and bleed heavily... This is normal and nothing to worry about but you may want to try wearing a thicker pad.  The clumps are blood clots and they are normal as well..

    Here is a little lesson:

Your uterus prepares itself every month for a fertilized egg. If there is no egg the extra lining that develops each month sloughs off and that is your period.. Since tissue is sloughing off it comes out in the form of blood clots.

    Hope it helped

  3. your period is heaviest on the second and third days, usually and the clumps are tissue from the uterus that come out with the blood.  the brown stuff is dried blood.

  4. That is definately normal. My second day is always my heaviest. You will probably have your period for about 4-5 days.

  5. It'll last 3-5 days probably, may be a day or two shorter or longer. And yep, that is completely normal for you to soak through a pad; well depending on how long you have had it on. If you wore it for a few hours (like more than 3 or 4) then you probably have a heavy flow; nothing to be concerned about, just make sure that you don't have a leak. The clots are gross but normal as well, as long as they aren't huge (like they hurt to pass) then it's nothing to worry about. I know it's freaky at first, but don't worry, you're not bleeding to death or anything lol it'll lighten up; my second and third days are usually by far the worst days.
