First pregnancy, sac measurement 16.8mm in 5 weeks???

Question

Hi all, i found out i'm pregnant two weeks ago after my second cycle of clomid 100mg. I went to dr and he did transvaginal ultrasound for me. Two weeks ago we barely see anything, last week we saw a sac measuring 6.5mm. Today i went again and its grow to 16.8mm. Is it normal? Because i search through the internet and this measurement is too huge. But i cant see any fetal pole. The u/s show it around 5 weeks pregnancy. I'm so scared...Any advice??? Please help. Thank you.

The measurement really doesn't sound that terrible, and at 5 weeks you aren't going to see a fetal pole. That's why most docs don't do ultrasounds until 7-8 weeks when you can actually see the heartbeat etc.

my gestional sac at 5 weeks 6 days was 15.0mm

you wont see a fetal pole at 5 weeks hun so dont worry

I don't know about the sac measurement, but when I went for an ultrasound at 5 1/2 weeks, I didn't see a fetal pole either. I am was so scared and my doctor made me worry more. I went back the next week, and it was there. I now have a beautiful baby boy. Good luck!
