  1. not going but advize prebook excursions you can find out by looking

at your info from the cruise line or calling them or your travel agent

    have fun

  2. Ahhhhh, that's so cool! I'm 14, and i'm going on the Norwegian Spirit on the very same day as you, leaving from Manhattan also!

**If you're going to book an excursion, definitely do it before your cruise. If you wait to book it on your cruise a lot of them are full already.

    Things that you should bring:

~power strip- there's usually no more than 1-2 outlets in your cabin and just in case you need to use more, they're always a good idea

~post its notes - helpful in case you need something from your room steward or to let your family know where you are on the ship

~formal outfit- you will have one formal night on your cruise where people always get dressed up(you don't have to get all formal, if you don't want to you can still eat in the buffet). girls wear any type of dress and guys wear a suit or tux but you don't have to get that fancy

~a nice outfit for the other nights on the cruise- all of the other nights will be casual or semi formal(there's no difference), and you don't have to dress really fancy, but they want you to look nice, no shorts or tshirt

~2 bathing suits- in case you decide to go swimming the same day, no one likes to wear a wet bathing suit

~you should try to bring collapseable luggage because the cabins are small and you need all of the space that you can get so you could put your luggage under the bed

~pants and a jacket- some of the rooms onboard can get pretty cold so make sure you have something with you just in case- especially for dinner

~you don't have to pack shampoo, soap, towels, or a hairdryer, they will all be in your cabin

For more information, you should definitely go to cruisecritic.com

There's a ton of boards that you can take a look at to learn about your destination, of the cruise line, or the ship. If you have a specific question you can ask it in the specific category and you will get a ton of answers from experienced cruisers.

  3. Omg, a cruise is the best expierence you will ever have!! You can't even descrive in words how amazing it is! It's like heaven! I would pack lot's of different clothes, such as baithing suit outfits, sunblock, sunglasses, hats, dress up outfits for the formal dinner, and captains nite, club outfits, comfortable shorts and shirts for getting off the boat to the different locations your ship stops at. Pack all your necessary hair, and make up items,  bring shampoo and condiotioner, toothepaste, bring an ipod (to lay out in the sun) There's gyms if you wish to work out, so pack your workout gear. Pajamas, I brought some magazines for laying out as well. But you will have an amazing time, a cruise ship is sooo much fun and you will love very much!! Have fun!

  4. OMG CRUISES ARE AWESOME! Okay, in about... 2005, my family and I went on a carnival cruise from Florida to Mexico and it is by far my FAVORITE vacation. Definitely bring a bathing suit because on carnival cruises they have water activities and hot tubs. Make sure you have lots of things to keep you busy also because when we went on our cruise we surprisingly got a first class room and it had nothing but a bathroom, tv, balcony, a bed plus a pull out bed, and a fridge. Therefore, you probably won't be spending most of your time in there. But I'm just gonna say this randomly. THEY GAVE US THE WRONG ROOM SO IT WASN'T MIDDLE CLASS IT WAS FIRST AND THEY HAD A GOLD FRIDGE!!!!!!! Sorry lol I just had to get that out. Also bring work out clothes if you feel like it because most likely they will have a gym and probably a rock climbing wall like we did. Oh, and I can almost guarantee that you won't need to bring ANY money unless you are planning on buying anything in Canada because you get a card to spend money on the cruise and it keeps track of how much money you spent. Then they will take care of the rest. I think they take it out of your bank account or something like that. Anyways, cruises are amazing and you are going to want to do it again! Trust me! Hope I could help!

  5. Well I'm only 14 but we went with carnival like two years ago it was pretty fun. You can do bowling, arcade games, gymnastics so you have a lot of freedom. As for bringing stuff all you need is clothes and a tooth brush everything else is supplied there.

  6. To find out who else is going. Go to www.cruisecritic.com and click on boards. You will need to register for a free account to access the boards. Also a lot of good info there as well. You can even read the ship reviews of your ship.

  7. The cruise itself will be awesome.  If you are not use to travelling on a ship you might barf a few times so do not eat like a pig the first day or two and it will be tempting.  You can get land sick or sea sick so be prepared. If you drink don't get so drunk you don't know where you are -a wrong turn could land you at sea.  If you are flying to the ship, bring a carry-on with at least 2 changes of clothes.  Airlines sometimes make mistakes and suitcases get misplaced.  Otherwise you won't know you are on a ship because they can be as large as an office building and as wide a city street with tons of stuff to do.  Once you go on a cruise you will never forget it.  Have fun!

  8. talk to your travel agent and ask the specific questions

go to cruise critic.com and read some passengers info from their cruises.

enjoy all the benefits and the fun.
