First time Green Card holder?

My sister was just granted her temporary Immigrant visa in Jamaica. This will be the first time entering the country. She is coming to live in NY but she as to connect in Florida to come to NY. Since her record states that she will be living in NY will that affect her processing during immigration in Florida.

  1. no, it will not, Florida is just her port of entry, one rarely has a straight flight to final destination. she does have a connecting flight?she will be ok.

  3. No it will not, the processing will start at the POE in Fl, if she lands at MIA airport. She should not have any problems at all..
