First time Laptop Owner?

I ordered a really nice up-to-date laptop from Best Buy. The salesman said I should hire the geek squad to come & set it up for me. Why would I need to do that when the laptop is loaded and ready to go? Am I missing something here?

The setup is very simple with laptops its usually just asking you to register the laptop and choose a username and password.

I wouldn't bother hiring anyone to do it

its a pretty simplinstallationon process which you just have to follow the on screen instructions and register it to you.

i say you try and do iyourselfef  if you cant do it then take it to the "geek squad" to get them to do it for you.

like i say its pretty simple and i dont think you would need any help

That's just an attempt to get a few more $s out of you.  Setting up a laptop is just like setting up a desktop.

If you can already use a computer i don't see why you need theme to set it up. There just trying to make more money out of you. Have fun with your new laptop! :-)
